Carbon fiber is a high-strength, high-modulus fiber material made from polyacrylonitrile as its raw material, with a carbon content exceeding 95%. Composed entirely of carbon atoms, it boasts the characteristics of being “lightweight yet incredibly strong.” Its density is only one-fifth that of steel, yet its strength can be 5 to 7 times greater than that of steel. Thanks to its outstanding performance, carbon fiber is widely used in fields such as aerospace, national defense and military industries, automotive manufacturing, and sports equipment.

During the manufacturing process, carbon fiber undergoes several steps—including spinning, oxidation, carbonization, surface treatment, and sizing—each of which requires specific additives to enhance product quality and meet the unique performance requirements when combined with different materials. Our developed products—Velosoft VC spinning oil, Spandex BPR fiber descaling agent, Spandex BC furnace descaling agent, and Penetrano CF carbon fiber sizing agent—are designed for various stages of carbon fiber production. In particular, the Penetrano sizing agent is custom-made in different models tailored to specific composite materials and application needs.

Seikotex® fluorine-free water repellent is 100% free of perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). The product is environmentally friendly and safe, and has obtained Level-3 certification from SGS and ZDHC. It is widely used in umbrellas, tents, outdoor sportswear and equipment, luggage, shoes, leather, down products, and paper to meet requirements for water resistance and washability.

Currently, Seikotex V8 is used for conventional processes, while Seikotex V6 is specifically designed for low-temperature baking conditions. Broker T liq is a crosslinking agent developed to enhance washfastness.

A nanocellulose waterproofing agent is set to be launched soon—a fluorine-free, biodegradable, bio-based product that represents a breakthrough in the manufacturing process of existing fluorine-free waterproofing agents.
